Re-enrollment Form & Updates

Good Morning!.

I have enjoyed hearing your voices and speaking with some of you in class the last few weeks. I truly have missed seeing all of you and hope that you have continued good health.

Congratulations to those of you who have been improving your grades each day! While there are many things about quarantine that are not enjoyable, the opportunity to improve your grades by simply giving your best effort and turning work in has been helpful to all of you. The good news is that you still have four weeks to turn work in with the knowledge that it can only help your grade. I would encourage all of you to push through to June 17 and get as much done as possible. Friday, May 29, we will be sending out Progress Reports to your families.

The Intent to Re-Enroll forms are on Facebook for you to fill out. Please take a moment and go to: (Enrollment Form) to reserve your spot for next year.

Miss Saucedo sent out an important email earlier this week about summer classes at San Diego City College. If you have time this summer and want to get a jump start on your college career, seriously consider taking a class this summer.

Graduation for Seniors will be June 18 at 4:00 PM. The details for graduation will be shared at our mandatory meeting on May 29. A meeting link has been sent to all seniors.

Seniors, if you would like the code sent to you once again to order graduation pictures, please let me know. I have all of the codes to order from Studio1.

Seniors, you can be looking for staff members showing up at your doors at home fairly soon to deliver your senior signs! Congratulations to the Class of 2020! I am proud to say that 10 of our 15 graduates currently plan on attending college this fall!

All students: I will be checking the points for Learning Lab teams this year on June 5. All IXL and Reading that you have done from March 16 will be added to where each team was at when we left the building. The winning team will still be receiving their trip to Knotts when it reopens. Make sure you get credit for the time and effort you have put into this competition.

I am still looking for AFCHS crest sign entries. Please get those to me by June 11. See the attachment for details.

Finally, be assured that when we return to school on campus, we will be strictly following the health standards set forth by our city, county and state leaders. Miss Perry and I have been closely monitoring the situation and when we get to July, I'm sure we will have a great plan to safely open school for everyone once we have permission to do so.

Stay Safe! Continue to wash your hands and keep your distance from people when you are out and about. We will get through this time together!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Mr. Bagby
