I am happy to teach at America’s Finest Charter School for my sixth year, because we put kids first here.  Our charter school has a strong sense of community, and we are here to challenge and support our students so they can reach their full potential.

I’m a native San Diegan from a large family.  I was proud to attend San Diego State University and go into teaching, following the footsteps of my older sister, a high school science teacher.  There I studied Liberal Arts and earned my Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Credential.  I plan to further my education in reading instruction very soon.

When I’m not teaching, I am most likely spending time with my husband and two dogs, swimming at the beach, or working around the yard.  I also enjoy Monday evenings with a special needs ministry called ‘Luv on Fire,’ tutoring foreign language students, and being creative through arts and crafts.
