Hello! My name is Patricia Thorne and I am from Watsonville, CA. I attended Concordia University Irvine where I received my BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development. I am currently working on my Masters in Reading and Literacy from San Diego State. I have been teaching for four years with students from first to third grade. I love reading, traveling, and being outdoors with my dog.

I am so excited to be teaching first grade at AFCS! I am passionate about creating an environment for students where they feel safe and nurtured. I advocate for my students and empower them to grow into life-long learners.
