Laurie Nemec is a teacher at America’s Finest Charter School, where she currently teaches seventh and eighth grade English. She received her Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and graduated from their credential program as well. Laurie comes with a wealth of teaching and educational experiences. She is truly a Jill of all trades having taught special education preschool, early admission to kindergarten, kindergarten, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and home schoolers grades K-8. When Laurie is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, she has two sons and one daughter (James, William, and Jennifer). She also enjoys reading, going to the beach, and taking her dog on long walks. Laurie currently resides in San Diego County with her husband, Jim and their dog, Gibbs, and cat, Abby.
