Hello, my name is Lauren Johnson and I am so excited to be part of the AFCS team. I was born in Florida and grew up in a military family so I have moved all around the country. I received my bachelors in Media Studies from California State University San Marcos and went on to get my Masters in Elementary Education this past year. I am passionate about education and aim to create a safe and welcoming environment where students are given opportunities to grow both academically and socially. I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year!

 

Outside of teaching I like spending my time with family and friends, reading, going to the beach, and traveling.
