Kindergarten Teacher

I was born and raised in Naples, Italy and I moved to the USA in 2001. I am married to a US Navy Pilot and we have three children.

I became a teacher after receiving my Master of Elementary Education in Hawaii in 2005 and since then I have taught Kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms as well as Special Day classes. I particularly enjoy working in Kindergarten because I have the privilege of teaching my students the foundations that the rest of their education will build on.

I believe that as a professional entrusted with the education of young minds, my goal is to facilitate children’s academic and emotional growth. By providing a quality education I will give children the tools necessary to succeed in life. In my classroom, I adopt a self-paced Instruction which is differentiated and responsive to their specific needs and learning abilities. Equally important to self-discovery is having the opportunity to study things that are meaningful and relevant to one's life and interests. For this reason, I aim to develop a tech-infused and student-directed curriculum to foster students' motivation and engagement.
