Caroline Conlon

1st Grade Teacher

Ms. Conlon grew up in San Diego but moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to go to college. She earned her Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential from Dominican University of California. She began teaching in a reform movement in East Oakland called the Small School Movement. She and 12 other young teachers started a wonderful school in an area that had been traditionally under-served. Ms. Conlon taught Kindergarten for six years and First Grade for five years. She also earned her Masters Degree in Urban Education from Holy Names University in Oakland. Being 1st generation Irish American and first person in her family to go to college, she understands the importance of a great education and emphasizes this to students daily.  Ms. Conlon is very happy to be here at America's Finest Charter School!
