Hello! My name is Chloe Chandler. I was born in Chula Vista, California. I went to San Jose State University and graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies, a B.S. in Advertising, and a Minor in Humanities in 2013. I decided to teach ESL abroad in 2015 and chose Southern China where I taught 12 to 19-year-olds. I then moved to Guanajuato, Mexico around 2016 and taught ESL to kids and adults. In 2017, I moved back to San Diego and taught adults and teenagers at a private language school. I realized my passion for education and wanted to make a more permanent and impactful career out of it, so I decided to pursue substitute teaching while I attended Alliant International to earn my teaching credential and my Masters of Arts in Education finally in 2022. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to teach 4th grade at AFCS and I've been doing so ever since!
