High School Principal
Mr. Bagby has been serving schools for the past 35 years. While growing up in Orange County, he realized that he wanted to become a teacher and has served in parochial, public, and charter schools in Illinois, Michigan, and California. During these years, Mr. Bagby has coached basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball and spent 11 years officiating at the high school level. Mr. Bagby also directed children’s and adult choirs as well as leading groups with the piano and the organ. In May, 2004, Mr. Bagby received his Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University with a GPA of 3.97. Mr. Bagby has taught in grades 3 through 9 for 18 years and has served as a principal for 17 years. He has led a high school recently to receive the Silver Medal from US News and World Report and has had great success at each of his stops. Mr. Bagby is very proud of his five children, four of whom have graduated from college. He and his wife Kim have a 13 year old son at home. Mr. Bagby is very excited to work with the staff to design an amazing high school at America’s Finest Charter High School!
